For Mobile App - How to Sign Up (Individual Account) – KDX Support

Part 1: Signing Up and Account Activation

Step 1: Download the KDX mobile app in the following marketplace.

Step 2: Open the KDX app and click the 'Sign up/Log in' button.

Step 3: Click 'Sign up here' and Select 'Individual' to create an individual account to continue.

Part 2: Verification

a. Email

Step 4: Enter your Email and Create password.

Tip: Use a strong password, and do not share your password with anyone to keep your account secure.

Step 5: [Optional] Input referral then tick the box once you have carefully read the Terms of use, Customer agreement and Privacy policy. Next, click 'Create account'.

Step 6: Verify your email. An email will be sent to your email address you used to sign up.

In your email, click 'Activate My Account'.

b. Mobile Number

Step 7: Select the country code that corresponds to your mobile number. Then, enter your mobile number to receive a 6-digit OTP to completed the mobile verification.

Step 8: Copy and paste the 6-digit OTP number to proceed.

c. Proof of Identity

Step 9: Select your 'Nationality'. Then, click 'Begin Verification'.

Step 10:

There are two parts to this step:

Upload Photo ID
Selfie

Proof of Identity Guideline
Type of ID	Malaysians: NRIC only Other nationalities: Passport
Condition of ID	Front and back of ID is required for submission High-quality and in full colour Ensure full name, date of birth and full image of face on ID is clear
Selfie	Photo must be taken in a well-lit environment, which will be used to verify your identity against the document

Step 11: Basic Info

Enter your personal information. Make sure your name and address are consistent with your personal documents.

Once done, click ‘Next’ to proceed.

d. Proof of Address

Step 12: Click on the arrow to upload your Proof of Address document. Once your document has been uploaded, click 'Next'.

Part 3: Compliance

Step 13: Credit Report Consent

To proceed, please read and acknowledge the consent form under Credit Reporting Agencies Act 2010. Once you tick the box, click 'Next'.

Step 14: Foreign Exchange Administration (FEA)

Complete the foreign exchange administration questionnaire. Finally, click 'Continue' to submit your application for your documents to be reviewed.

Please allow up to 3 working days for your account to be reviewed and verified.

You will receive an email notification after your KDX account has been successfully verified or if document resubmission is needed.

Tip: Don't forget to check your Junk/Spam folder as well!
