What is Planned Downtime?
From time to time, KDX may announce a planned downtime to perform necessary maintenance and updates. During these periods, trading will be temporarily suspended.
How Will I Be Notified?
KDX will notify all customers of any planned downtime via email at least three (3) days in advance. The notification will include:
- Scheduled date of the downtime
- Time the downtime will begin
- Expected duration of the maintenance period
What Happens During Planned Downtime?
When KDX enters maintenance mode during planned downtime, the following functions will be temporarily disabled:
Trading Functions
- All trading activities will be suspended
- Access to order books will not be available
Account Access
- Deposit functions will be disabled
- Withdrawal functions will be disabled
- General account access will be limited
Urgent Maintenance
In the event of extenuating circumstances or urgent maintenance needs, KDX may provide shorter than the three (3) days' notice period for planned downtime.
Service Restoration Process
During the initial response phase of recovery, KDX may shift service to alternate sites to restore operations and continue serving customers. Here's what to expect:
Initial Recovery
Service will be restored with reduced functionality while sites are being fully restored. This allows us to get you back to trading as quickly as possible.
Full Restoration
Within 2 hours, the system and facilities should be fully functional at 100% capacity.
